In late April a family of dogs was found living in a pallet yard in Baldwin Park. Love Leo Rescue and Northwest Dog Project teamed up to get this starving family into our care and then once ready, up for adoption. On arrival there was one very tiny puppy who was skin and bones.

While his litter mates where 12lbs, Turnip was just 4lbs. We took him into our care and are continuing to work him up to see why he's failing to thrive. His gastrointestinal tract is pretty unhappy and he needs to see a specialist for an endoscopy. Currently we have been able to get Turnip up to 5.5lbs but he's still not thriving. We can't wait to get this big cuddly Great Dane puppy feeling his best.
